ASB Summer Dance Party
The ASB presents the June Summer Dance Party!
Whether you can drop off snacks or spend time supervising the event, your time and generosity are what make McClure special.
8th Grade Promotion & Dance
8th Grade Promotion is a very important day for 8th graders and their families. The McClure PTSA has a tradition of 6th and 7th grade families helping so the 8th grade families can enjoy the celebration!
Immediately following the promotion ceremony, all 8th graders are invited to a dance in the McClure gym, hosted by the PTSA.
There will be popcorn, cupcakes and lemonade served at the Promotion and then pizza, snacks and water/lemonade at the Dance.
Promotion — 5:30-6:30pm
Dance — 6:30-8pm
Volunteers who attend the dance must be SPS-approved. If you have been approved in the past, please ensure that McClure is listed in your profile. If you are not an approved volunteer, plan ahead as it takes up to two weeks for approval.
McClure Field Day
To celebrate the end of the school year, we are thrilled to support the McClure Athletic Department with our school’s annual Field Day!

John Hay’s PTA needs community volunteers to help with their annual school Carnival on Friday, Jun 5.Students looking for Community Service Hours — here’s your chance to earn them and have fun at the same time!

McClure PTSA General Meeting
All are welcome to attend, in-person or virtually, and learn about what our dedicated group of parent volunteers are working on for the remainder of the year, and how you might be able to help!
Together with Principal Ann Jennings, staff and student representatives, we will discuss the budget, upcoming events, and more. Bring your curiosity, ideas, and any McClure community needs that we can address together.

QAE Hosts Community Preparedness Training
Queen Anne Elementary (QAE) is inviting McClure families to a community preparedness training (with a special guest facilitator from the field) focused on ICE / immigration enforecement, on Wednesday, May 13, from 6:00–8:00 PM at QAE (Chill Zone).
This gathering is open to and designed for all QAE families, and we especially want to emphasize that any friends or neighbors with school-age children are warmly welcome to attend as well, including families connected to Coe, John Hay, and McClure.

The PTSA’s McClure Cares team is working to support our students and families who are in need of assistance. Help them make an immediate impact with a gift card donation that could be used to cover costs for:

To contribute, Sign Up Here and drop off your gift card(s) no later than Friday, May 15 at the office, or email it to mcclurecares@mccluremavericks.org. All gift cards will be distributed to McClure families by our Counselors and Social Worker.

The Art Club is designed as a welcoming community for ALL skill levels, and a space where students can explore their artistic voice without pressure. Each session begins with a mini-demonstration or a guided art prompt, followed by "open studio".
